No two reconditioned stairlifts carry quite the same price, and we think you should know why. Three things set the figure: how old the lift is, the condition it is in, and whether any warranty comes with it. A newer lift in excellent order costs a little more; an older one costs less. Either way, reconditioned straight lifts start from £950 installed.
Value is about more than the lowest number, though. Every reconditioned lift we sell is one of our own that we have bought back, then fully serviced, checked, tested and cleaned, so you are paying a reasonable price for good quality equipment.
We are Stairlift Solutions, a local family business with an office in Newtownards, Co. Down, and we work right across Northern Ireland. Here is what we take care of:
If a reconditioned lift is not the best match, we can compare it for you against a new or ex-rental lift. Our range includes straight and curved models for indoor and outdoor stairs.
Before you spend anything, an experienced member of the team will carry out a FREE survey at your home and explain the results, including what each option would cost. Each lift is backed by a full warranty and a 24/7 customer care line, so the value lasts long after the day it is fitted and you are never left on your own.

A long-lasting straight lift that is a regular in our reconditioned range. The Brooks Slimline has a soft start and a soft stop, comes with remote controls, and its DC power packs charge automatically whenever a trip up or down the stairs ends.
Brooks 180 Curved Stairlifts
For a staircase that curves, Brooks offer the 180. It can be fitted on the inner curve or the outer curve, and it shares the reliability and features found on the Brooks straight range.
HomeGlide Stairlifts
One of the most affordable straight lifts we fit in Northern Ireland. The HomeGlide is safe, robust and reliable, with basic features, a swift installation and a quiet, smooth glide. We handle both supply and installation.
HomeGlide Extra Stairlifts
Paying a little more for the HomeGlide Extra brings premium options and luxury touches. There is a choice of fabrics and colours, a compact and elegant seat, and an aluminium rail fitted cleanly and discreetly by our specialists, who will advise you first.
Flow X Curved Stairlifts
ThyssenKrupp built the Flow X as the successor to its award-winning Flow 2A. One of the world's leading stairlifts, it pairs German engineering with the latest technology and a single rail suited to nearly any staircase in a home or a business.
Bespoke Synergy
A straight lift with a simple way of working and a carefully detailed design. The Bespoke Synergy is compact, keeps some of its features hidden, and sits on one of the slimmest rails in the world, which keeps it unobtrusive.
Bespoke Infinity
The Bespoke Infinity is a curved stairlift that brings British quality and comfort, helping you live independently with minimum help. Its price includes a 2-year parts warranty as standard, plus expert advice and installation from us.
Acorn Stairlifts
Acorn lifts are among the most popular we offer reconditioned. They are a well-known make with a simple design, top quality build, and they are easy both to use and to maintain.
Reconditioned Stairlifts
What a reconditioned straight lift costs depends on its age, its condition and any warranty, from £950 installed. Every one is a lift of ours that we have bought back, then serviced from top to bottom, checked, tested and cleaned before it is fitted again.
The majority look just like new.
Rental Stairlifts
Renting can work out better value than buying when the need is short term, for example while you recover from an operation. Choose a 6 or 12 month rental plan, then return the lift when the time is up.
Outdoor Stairlifts
Our outdoor stairlift is a Brooks for external straight flights, operating the same way as the indoor version. Built with outdoor components, it has a durable plastic cover to guard against rain, snow, heat and light, at homes and businesses.
Extended Warranties
Extended warranties help you budget, because breakdowns and unforeseen repairs are covered. Our lifts are very reliable, but the extra peace of mind is worth having, and our after-sales team is available 24/7.
Mobility Scooters
Our range of mobility scooters is wide, with names such as Sterling, Invacare and Supascoota among others. Prices and features vary from model to model, so ring our experts and they will talk you through the choices.
Riser Recliners
Royams, a British family firm going for almost 40 years, makes our riser recliners with a personalised service. Options include many fabrics and frames in Petite, Standard and Kingsize, with the Patented Lift and battery backup. Royams guarantee the motor and mechanisms for 5 years. High seat chairs are available, with delivery across Northern Ireland.
Rollators
Coopers rollators are lightweight enough for use inside and outdoors, and they combine quality, safety, comfort and design. Choose between a number of models, sizes and colours, and we will have your rollator delivered to your home.
Manual Wheelchairs
We supply BREEZY standard manual wheelchairs, built for quality, dependability and ease of operation. Folding frames come in steel or aluminium, and the chairs are tested for a stable ride.
Powered Wheelchairs
Powered wheelchairs for use indoors or out, offering good performance and manoeuvrability. With expandable controls and a range of seating systems and drive bases, they can be matched to your needs and give you independence.
Ramps
Everyday portable access ramps at prices to fit most budgets, so a step or doorway no longer has to be a barrier. Pick from rubber, plastic, carbon fibre or anodised aluminium, each offering the most safety and load for the least weight.
Bathroom Aids
Coopers bathroom aids make bathing and showering safer and help you stay independent. Their safety features are built in: textured surfaces give a good grip even when your hands are wet, and locking mechanisms add security.
Toilet Aids
Practical toileting and continence aids from Coopers, designed with useful features so you can keep your independence. Ask us which aids would be most helpful in your own bathroom and we will be glad to advise.
